Sessional Lecturer definition

Sessional Lecturer means a person who was appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period (1) July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 and who is re-appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period July 1, 2013to June 30, 2014;
Sessional Lecturer means a member of the academic staff with the rank of Sessional Lecturer II, or Sessional Lecturer I.
Sessional Lecturer means a member of the Academic Staff appointed by the Dean of a Faculty or School to teach no more than one semester course in a designated semester. Normally, the Sessional Lecturer has full responsibility for the course, but on occasion a Sessional Lecturer will be a member appointed at a partial stipend to teach a defined portion of a course with corresponding teaching responsibilities. Examples of Sessional Lecturer in a sentence

  • The Panel shall be composed of eight (8) full-time faculty members of the University of Toronto, each from a different Department, and one (1) Sessional Lecturer III.

  • Where a Department requires a Sessional Lecturer to perform additional duties arising directly out of an appointment under this Collective Agreement and where such duties exceed the normal duties of a Sessional Lecturer in the Department, the Chair shall make an adjustment in the stipend commensurate with these additional duties.

Sessional Lecturer means a person holding an appointment in scope of the sessional lecturer bargaining unit and who is responsible for teaching a credit course and remunerated on a per- course basis.

Sessional Lecturer means a person who was appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period (1) July 1, 2014 2018 to June 30, 2015 2019 and who is re-appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period July 1, 2015 2019 to June 30, 2016, 2020; (2) July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 and who is re-appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021; (3) July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 and who is re-appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
Sessional Lecturer means a person who was appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period (1) July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006 and who is re-appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007, (2) July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007 and who is re-appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008, (3) July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008 and who is re-appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009, and/or (4) July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009 and who is re- appointed as a Sessional Lecturer during the period July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010;
