Service Use definition

Service Use means the use of a vehicle on field construction projects where the vehicle is primarily used to transport significant amounts of materials, equipment and staff on the project site. A claim may not be made for Service Use on the same day and a claim under Section 1 or the above Section, i.e. Option A or B.
Service Use means use of the Product for the purpose of providing it to clients of the customer (upon the Company’s request, the company name shall be notified to the Company under the procedures prescribed by the Company; hereinafter referred to as the “Service User(s)”) as services through the information system infrastructure managed and operated by the customer and networks such as the Internet (including but not limited to outsourcing, hosting, cloud services, ASP, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, regardless of whether it is paid or not, hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
Service Use shall apply to the use of the Product and shall supersede the provisions of this Agreement. However, this excludes functions or products specified by the Company.

Examples of Service Use in a sentence

  • Customer understands and agrees that Motorola may collect and use Service Use Data for its own purposes, including the uses described below.

  • Such Cloud Features, and any additional terms applicable to the Cloud Features, are set forth in the Service Use Description.

  • Except to the extent that it is Personal Information, Customer understands and agrees that Motorola may collect and use Service Use Data for its own purposes, provided that such purposes are compliant with applicable Data Protection Laws.

  • Motorola may use Service Use Data to (a) operate, maintain, manage, improve existing and create new products and services, (b) test products and services, (c) to aggregate Service Use Data and combine it with that of other users, and (d) to use anonymized or aggregated data for marketing, research or other business purposes.

  • If Service Use is carried out, the Product cannot be used in any other way, including use by companies other than the companies notified to the Company under the procedures prescribed by the Company as the Service Users as well as internal use by the customer for the purpose of performing in-house business.

  • The Civil Service Board may elect to use a Hearing Officer for such appeals as described in Appendix E, Civil Service Use Of Hearing Officer.

  • An employee who is authorized to use a cell phone for work purposes, (Service Use or safety reasons), is entitled to claim twenty-five ($25) dollars per month.


More Definitions of Service Use

Service Use means a use where the purpose of such enterprise is to provide non-personal service or, service to an industry or the public, where such a service is conducted and/or provided off-site at a location in need of such service, and may include maintenance, caretaking, cleaning, security and trades or contractors which provide an installation service and does not include outdoor storage or workshop.
Service Use means that any use of the Services for the purpose of providing services (including, without limitation, outsourcing, hosting, cloud services, ASP, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc. with or without compensation; collectively, the “Customer Services”) via the network, such as the information system infrastructure managed and operated by the Customer and the Internet, to the Customer’s client (whose company name shall be notified to the Company in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company; “Customer Service User”).
Service Use means any use of Products furnished hereunder which is or may become the subject of a suit, claim or proceeding alleging that a method of use claim in a patent is infringed, or which may result in a settlement payment, or award of damages, or accounting of profits, where such payment, award, or accounting is based on the revenues or profits earned by Buyer or on the lost revenues or profits of a patent holder or other third party, arising from Buyer's use of such Products.

Related to Service Use

  • Service User means your customer, (i.e., the purchaser of the Offering).

  • Service Users means each person who is referred or presents to the Provider as part of the provision of the Services;

  • re-use means any operation by which products or components that are not waste are used again for the same purpose for which they were conceived;

  • Office use means lands, buildings or structures used or designed or intended for use for the practice of a profession, the carrying on of a business or occupation and, for greater certainty, but without in any way limiting the generality of the foregoing, shall include but not be limited to the office of a physician, lawyer, dentist, architect, engineer, accountant, real estate or insurance agency, insurance company, veterinarian, surveyor, appraiser, financial institution, consumer loan company, employment agency, advertising agency, consulting firm, business service, investment company, security broker, mortgage company, medical clinic, builder, land developer;

  • Routine use means the disclosure of a record without the consent of the subject or subjects, for a purpose which is compatible with the purpose for which the record was collected. It includes disclosures required to be made by statute other than the public records law, Iowa Code chapter 22.
