air service means a flight or a series of flights carrying passengers, cargo and/or mail for remuneration and/or hire;
Service life means the expected period of viable, technical and economic life of an asset;
Detailed telecommunications billing service means an ancillary service of separately stating information pertaining to individual calls on a customer's billing statement.
Toll Billing Exception Service (TBE) means a service that allows End Users to restrict third number billing or collect calls to their lines.

911 Service means a universal telephone number which gives the public direct access to the Public Safety Answering Point (“PSAP”). Live birth means the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product of human conception, irrespective of the duration of pregnancy, which after such expulsion or extraction, breathes or shows any other evidence of life, such as beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of voluntary muscles, whether or not the umbilical cord has been cut or the placenta is attached. In determining a live birth, heartbeats shall be distinguished from transient cardiac contractions, and respirations shall be distinguished from fleeting respiratory efforts or gasps.
Ambulance service means any privately or publicly owned service program that utilizes ambulances, including air transport vehicles, in order to provide patient transportation and emergency medical services.
Service User means a person required to pay a tax imposed under the provisions of this Chapter.
flight information service means a service provided for the purpose of giving advice and information useful for the safe and efficient conduct of flights;
Service List means the list of persons designated by the hearing officer or Clerk in a regulatory or adjudicatory proceeding upon whom parties or participants must serve motions, prefiled questions and prefiled testimony and any other documents that the parties or participants file with the Clerk unless the hearing officer otherwise directs. Postpaid calling service means the telecommunications service obtained by making a payment on a call-by-call basis either through the use of a credit card or payment mechanism such as a bank card, travel card, credit card, or debit card, or by charge made to a telephone number which is not associated with the origination or termination of the telecommunications service. A “postpaid calling service” includes a telecommunications service, except a prepaid wireless calling service, that would be a prepaid calling service except it is not exclusively a telecommunications service.
Payment Initiation Service Provider or “PISP” means a Third Party Provider that provides a service in which the PISP gives instructions to us on your behalf to carry out an Account transaction on your Online Payment Account where payments can be made using Digital Banking.
Service Center means a place of business of a credit union, other than the principal place of business or a branch, where the credit union may transact business authorized by the credit union board.
Prepaid wireless calling service means a telecommunications service that provides the right to utilize mobile wireless service as well as other non-telecommunications services, including the download of digital products delivered electronically, content and ancillary services, which must be paid for in advance that is sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the number declines with use in a known amount.
Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System (eSRS) means the Governmentwide, electronic, web-based system for small business subcontracting program reporting. The eSRS is located at http://www.esrs.gov.
Service Line means an indoor line in which one (1) or more persons are waiting for or receiving service of any kind, whether or not the service involves the exchange of money.
Contracted Services means medical services, nursing services, health-related services, ancillary services, or environmental services provided according to a documented agreement between a health care institution and the person providing the medical services, nursing services, health-related services, ancillary services, or environmental services.
Maritime cargo handling services means activities exercised by stevedore companies, including terminal operators, but not including the direct activities of dockers, when this workforce is organised independently of the stevedoring or terminal operator companies. Postdelivery Care means postpartum Health Care Services provided in accordance with accepted maternal and neonatal assessments including, but not limited to, parent education, assistance and training in breast- feeding and bottle-feeding, and the performance of any necessary and appropriate clinical tests.
Enhanced 911 Service (“E911”) means a telephone communication service which will automatically route a call dialed “9-1-1” to a designated public safety answering point (PSAP) attendant and will provide to the attendant the calling party’s telephone number and, when possible, the address from which the call is being placed and the Emergency Response agencies responsible for the location from which the call was dialed.
