Server Edition definition

Server Edition means the Pervasive PSQL Server Edition software You have received from Pervasive with this Agreement that operates on a Server which may be incorporated into a Communications Network, including all applicable Updates.

Examples of Server Edition in a sentence

  • If Customer uses Remote Desktop Server Edition or other technology to run two or more instances (copies) of the same Software on a single Server or Device then a separate license must be purchased for each instance (copy) of the Software being run.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, there are no restrictions on use of the Vx Server Edition as a “software as a service”, in an application service provider environment, and/or on the Internet or Intranet or by multiplexing (as defined below).

  • Under Server Edition Concurrent User Licenses, You may use the Server Edition solely for Your internal business purposes.

  • If You use hardware or software to pool connections, reroute information, and reduce the number of Devices, Servers or users that directly access or use the Server Software, or reduce the number of Devices, Servers or users the Server Software directly manages (sometimes referred to as “multiplexing” or “pooling”), then You are required to purchase the Vx Server Edition Capacity-based License.

  • If You cannot accurately track the number of Concurrent Users accessing the Workstation/Workgroup Edition under the Concurrent User License and maintain appropriate Records in accordance with Section 11.4 below, then You must purchase a Vx Server Edition License.

  • Your TeleCLIENT comes with everything needed to access your network server running under Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition, Windows 2000 Terminal Services, Citrix WinFrame or MetaFrame or other legacy server operating systems.

  • Licensee may use the Client Software to connect as many Simultaneous Users to the Server Edition software as Licensee has Simultaneous User Licenses for that instance of the Server Edition software.

  • Idle Standby Server can be configured with the InterBase Server Edition software installed on it and may or may not be powered on, but it is idle in that it is not performing useful work, by, for example, receiving or sending data.

  • Any material instance of noncompliance with the Servicing Criteria (as defined in the Servicing Agreement) has been disclosed in such reports.

  • Each Unlimited User license has a major version number which is the same as the major version number of the Server Edition software.
