Seniority Definition definition

Seniority Definition. Seniority means length of continuous service in the School District within a category of position (i.e., Head Cook, ▇▇▇▇▇/Assistant Cook, Full-Time General Worker, Part-Time General Worker) and shall accumulate commencing with the first day of the employee’s most recent continuous employment in the bargaining unit. Seniority shall be calculated on a District- wide basis. Seniority for each employee will be established by using the date of employment that is part of the official minutes of the Board.
