SEMI-OPEN PRISON definition
SEMI-OPEN PRISON means any place within the prison complex so declared by the Government for temporary or permanent use for the detention of prisoners in which the prisoners are trusted to serve their sentences with minimal supervision and perimeter security and are not locked up in prison cells and do the work within the area demarcated by the Inspector General inside the prison complex as assigned to them from time to time while serving their sentence.
