Self-sponsored training definition

Self-sponsored training means a training carried out by a staff member where the expenses of such training are not covered by the Union and/or its partners.
Self-sponsored training means an authorised training carried out by a staff member where the expenses of such training are not covered by the Union.

  • Approved Training means training undertaken in a traineeship and shall involve formal instruction, both theoretical and practical, and supervised practice in accordance with a traineeship scheme approved by the relevant state training authority or NETTFORCE. The training will be accredited and lead to qualifications as set out in subclause 5(e).

  • Dependent care assistance program or "DCAP" means a benefit plan whereby school employees may pay for certain employment related dependent care with pretax dollars as provided in the salary reduction plan under chapter 41.05 RCW pursuant to 26 U.S.C.
