Self-Regulate definition

Self-Regulate means the licensee’s personal responsibility and accountability for adhering to legal, ethical, and professional practice standards, and professional performance standards.

Related to Self-Regulate

  • Self-reliant means that a person does not require services related to a disability beyond that normally provided by the carrier, or beyond that which applicable rules or regulations require the carrier to provide.

  • Self-Regulatory Organization means any association of investment advisers or securities dealers registered under the federal securities laws, or any Exchange.

  • Self-report means written or oral notification provided by the licensee to the board or impaired practitioner review committee that the licensee has been, is, or may be impaired prior to the board’s receiving a complaint or report from a third party alleging the same. Information relative to impairment or a potential impairment which is provided on a license application or a renewal form may be considered a self-report.

  • Shelf Registration means a registration effected pursuant to Section 2(b) hereof.
