Self-funded student definition
Self-funded student means students not in receipt of a tuition fee loan from Student Finance England or equivalent authorities in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. This includes those students being funded by a sponsor and those in receipt of SLC-funded maintenance loans only. If you are self-funded, you have to pay your fees yourself.
