Selection Grade definition

Selection Grade means the Selection Grade sanctioned to the teacher as per the recommendations of the University Grants Commission and accepted by the Government and the University, from time to time;

Examples of Selection Grade in a sentence

  • An officer of Selection Grade of the Accounts Department shall be considered of equal status to the officers in SA grade of other departments of the Railway for the purpose of appointment of arbitrator.

  • An officer of Selection Grade of the Accounts Department shall be considered of equal status to the officers in Senior Administrative Grade of other departments of the Railway for the purpose of appointment of arbitrator.

  • They shall be designated as Deputy Librarian/ Assistant Librarian (Selection Grade)/ College Librarian (Selection Grade), as the case may be.

  • Incumbent Readers and Lecturers (Selection Grade) who had not completed three years in the pay scale of Rs. 12000-18300 on 1.1.2006 shall be placed at the appropriate stage in the Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 8000 till they complete 3 years of service in the grade of Lecturer (Selection Grade)/Reader, and thereafter shall be placed in the higher Pay Band of Rs.37400-67000 and accordingly re-designated as Associate Professor.

  • They shall be designated as Deputy Director of Physical Education/ Assistant DPE (Selection Grade)/ College DPE (Selection Grade), as the case may be.

  • They shall be designated as Deputy Librarian / Assistant Librarian (Selection Grade) / College Librarian (Selection Grade), as the case may be.

  • Readers/ Lecturers (Selection Grade) in service at present shall continue to be designated as Lecturer (Selection Grade) or Readers, as the case may be, until they are placed in the Pay Band of Rs. 37,400-67000 and re-designated as Associate Professor in the manner described in (x) above.

  • They shall be designated as Deputy Librarian/ Assistant Librarian (Selection Grade)/ College Librarian (Selection Grade), as the case may be.(iii) The existing process of selection by a Selection Committee shall continue in respect of promotion to the post of Deputy Librarian and their equivalent positions.

  • Incumbents to the posts of Deputy Librarian/ Assistant Librarian (Selection Grade)/College Librarian (Selection Grade) who have completed three years in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 12000-18300 on 1.1.2006 shall be fixed at an appropriate stage in the Pay Band of Rs. 37400-67000 with an AGP of Rs. 9000.

  • Incumbents to the posts of Deputy Librarian/ Assistant Librarian (Selection Grade)/College Librarian (Selection Grade) who have not completed the requirement of three years in the pre- revised pay scale of Rs. 12000-18300, for being eligible to be placed in the higher Pay Band of Rs. 37400-67000, shall be placed at an appropriate stage with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.8000 till they complete three years of service as Deputy Librarian/ Assistant Librarian (Selection Grade)/ College Librarian (Selection Grade).

Related to Selection Grade

  • Selection Criteria means and includes all of the requirements, considerations,

  • Finished grade means the grade upon completion of the fill or excavation.

  • Passing grade means work of such character that credit would be entered on the records were the semester to close at that time.

  • Rating Point means the V&H coordinates associated with a particular telephone number for rating purposes.

  • Highest Rating Category means, with respect to an Eligible Investment, that the Eligible Investment is rated by S&P or Moody’s in the highest rating given by that rating agency for that general category of security. By way of example, the Highest Rating Category for tax-exempt municipal debt established by S&P is “A-1+” for debt with a term of one year or less and “AAA” for a term greater than one year, with corresponding ratings by Moody’s of “MIG-1” (for fixed rate) or “VMIG-1” (for variable rate) for three months or less and “Aaa” for greater than three months. If at any time (a) the Bonds are not rated, (b) both S&P and Moody’s rate an Eligible Investment and (c) one of those ratings is below the Highest Rating Category, then such Eligible Investment will, nevertheless, be deemed to be rated in the Highest Rating Category if the lower rating is no more than one rating category below the highest rating category of that rating agency. For example, an Investment rated “AAA” by S&P and “Aa3” by Xxxxx’x is rated in the Highest Rating Category. If, however, the lower rating is more than one full rating category below the Highest Rating Category of that rating agency, then the Eligible Investment will be deemed to be rated below the Highest Rating Category. For example, an Eligible Investment rated “AAA” by S&P and “A1” by Xxxxx’x is not rated in the Highest Rating Category.

  • Established Grade means that grade established by the City for the particular area in which a sidewalk is to be constructed.

  • Pay grade means the monthly salary applicable to class titles of service personnel;

  • Fitch Criteria means the Collateral Amount shall equal the sum of (i) the product of A multiplied by the xxxx-to-market value of the outstanding Transactions determined by Party A in good faith from time to time, and (ii) the product of B multiplied by the current aggregate notional amount of the outstanding Transactions, where:

  • Investment Grade means a rating of Baa3 or better by Moody’s (or its equivalent under any successor rating categories of Moody’s); a rating of BBB- or better by S&P (or its equivalent under any successor rating categories of S&P); and the equivalent investment grade credit rating from any additional Rating Agency or Rating Agencies selected by the Company.

  • Investment Grade Credit Rating means (i) a Credit Rating of Baa3 or higher given by Xxxxx’x, (ii) a Credit Rating of BBB- or higher given by S&P or (iii) a Credit Rating of BBB- or higher given by Fitch.

  • Rating Category means one of the generic rating categories of any Rating Agency without regard to any refinement or gradation of such rating by a numerical modifier or otherwise.

  • Approved Pricing Service means a pricing or quotation service as set forth in Schedule 1.01(a) or any other pricing or quotation service approved by the Board of Directors of the Borrower and designated in writing to the Administrative Agent (which designation shall be accompanied by a copy of a resolution of the Board of Directors of the Borrower that such pricing or quotation service has been approved by the Borrower).

  • Criteria means one of the eight (8) state defined categories to be scored.

  • P.01 Transmission Grade of Service means a trunk facility provisioning standard with the statistical probability of no more than one call in 100 blocked on initial attempt during the average busy hour.

  • Sound level meter means an instrument which includes a microphone, amplifier, RMS detector, integrator or time averager, output meter, and weighting networks used to measure sound pressure levels.

  • Review Criteria has the meaning assigned to that term in Section 12.02(b)(i).

  • eligible Categories means Categories (1), (2) and (3) set forth in the table in paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to this Agreement;

  • Highest adjacent grade means the highest natural elevation of the ground surface prior to construction next to the proposed walls of a structure.

  • Rating Criteria with respect to any Person, means that (i) the short-term unsecured debt obligations of such Person are rated at least “A-1” by S&P, “P-1” by Xxxxx’x and “F-1” by Fitch, if deposits are held by such Person for a period of less than one month, or (ii) the long-term unsecured debt obligations of such Person are rated at least “AA-” by S&P, “Aa3” by Xxxxx’x and “AA-” by Fitch, if deposits are held by such Person for a period of one month or more.

  • S&P Rating means, at any time, the rating issued by S&P and then in effect with respect to the Borrower’s senior unsecured long-term public debt securities without third-party credit enhancement (it being understood that if the Borrower does not have any outstanding debt securities of the type described above but has an indicative rating from S&P for debt securities of such type, then such indicative rating shall be used for determining the “S&P Rating”).

  • Eligibility Criteria means the legal criteria as specified in the Clause 5 of this E- Auction Process Information Document;

  • Investment Grade Certificate As of any date of determination, a Certificate that is rated in one of the four highest generic rating categories by at least one Rating Agency that is defined as a “Rating Agency” under Section III of the Exemption.

  • eligible Category means Category (1) set forth in the table in paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to this Agreement;

  • Eligibility and selection criteria means criteria for determining:

  • Nomination Criteria means the criteria made up of the Over-Riding Nomination Criteria andthe Specific Nomination Factors, and is also referred to as “this Criteria”.

  • Eligible Items means the goods imported under the Program (except those specifically excluded pursuant to Attachment 1 to Schedule 3 to this Loan Agreement), the foreign exchange costs of which are eligible for financing out of the proceeds of the Loan;
