Security Receipts definition

Security Receipts means a security as defined in clause (zg) of section 2 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (54 of 2002)
Security Receipts means a security as defined in clause (zg) of section 2 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (54 of 2002) c. ‘Securitized debt instrument’ means securities of the nature referred to in sub-clause (ie) of clause (h) of section 2 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956(42 of 1956).

Examples of Security Receipts in a sentence

  • Excess recovery after redemption of Security Receipts i.e. upside, if any, will be shared by SR holders and ARC on 80:20 basis.

  • Security Receipts issued by the asset reconstruction companies are valued in accordance with the guidelines applicable to such instruments, prescribed by RBI from time to time.

  • The total holding by a single FII in each tranche of scheme of Security Receipts shall not exceed 10% of the issue and total holdings of all FIIs put together shall not exceed 49% of the paid up value of each tranche of scheme / issue of Security Receipts issued by the ARCs. Further, Sub –account of FIIs are not allowed to invest in the Security Receipts issued by ARCs.

  • However, FIIs registered with SEBI can invest in the Security Receipts (SRs) issued by ARCs registered with Reserve Bank.

  • Security Receipts are valued at NAV as declared by Securitisation companies.

  • FIIs/FPIs can invest in the Security Receipts (SRs) issued by ARCs. FIIs/FPIs may be allowed to invest up to 100 per cent of each tranche in SRs issued by ARCs, subject to directions/guidelines of Reserve Bank of India.

  • Security Receipts are valued at NAV as declared by Securitization companies.

  • Further, for managing the interest rate risk in the purchased securitised assets, the Bank uses PV01 as a sensitivity measures on a periodic basis.As per RBI guidelines, the valuation of Security Receipts (SRs) is carried out at NAVs declared by Securitisation Company / Reconstruction Company (SC/RC).

  • Bank also invests in Security Receipts issued by the Reconstruction Companies / Securitisation Companies.

  • Listing of Securitised Debt Instruments and Security Receipts) Regulations, 2008]4, as may be applicable; (w)"promoter" and "promoter group" shall have the same meaning as assigned to them respectively in clauses (za) and (zb) of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 2 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009.

  • Collateral has the meaning specified in the Granting Clause of this Indenture.

  • Collateral Security means security, other than a security interest in a motor vehicle that is the subject of an installment sale contract, that is given to secure performance of an obligation of the buyer, or of any surety or guarantor for the buyer, under an installment sale contract. The term includes the undertakings of any surety or guarantor for the buyer and any interest in, encumbrance on, or pledge of real or personal property other than the motor vehicle that is the subject of the installment sale contract.
