Security Identification Display Area definition

Security Identification Display Area or “SIDA” (or a phrase of similar import) means that area defined as such in the Master Security Program adopted by MAC, approved by the FAA, and amended from time to time.
Security Identification Display Area or “SIDA” shall have the same meaning as set forth in TSA1542.205. Before being granted unescorted access to the SIDA, Individuals must undergo a Criminal History Record Check and employment history verification.
Security Identification Display Area shall refer to the area of any Airport that is subject to the security requirements as set forth in Article 19(B) herein and shall include any area of the Airport that is restricted and requires airport badges or other airport-issued identification to gain entry to the SIDA area. In accordance with federal requirements, all Airport, air carrier, or tenant employees having unescorted access to a SIDA area are subject to fingerprint requirements, based on a criminal history records check.
