SECURITY/DAMAGE definition

SECURITY/DAMAGE. The hotel cannot assume responsibility for damage to, or loss of any merchandise or articles left or sent to the hotel prior to, during, or following any function. A handling and storage charge may be assessed on articles shipped that arrive more than 24 hours prior to the function. At the hotel’s discretion, the hotel may require the client to obtain, and pay for, bonded security personnel. Clients are responsible and shall reimburse the hotel for any damage, loss, or liability incurred by the hotel, by any of the client’s guests, or any persons or organizations contracted by the client to provide any services or goods before, during and after the function. If necessary, a cleaning fee of a minimum of $200 will be applied. The group is responsible for the conduct of all persons in attendance and for any damage to the hotel. The hotel has the right to terminate any event due to misconduct. All displays, exhibits, banners, decorations, etc. will not be attached to walls, doors, or structures. Placement of such items must be reviewed in advance with the Catering Office. Any damage to hotel premises will result in additional charges. Additional signage other than what is provided by the hotel may be requested and will be reviewed by management. Additional signage without permission is prohibited.
