Security Clearances definition

Security Clearances means all personnel and facility security clearances required for access to information classified pursuant to Executive Order 13526 or similar Order that is necessary for operation of a Person’s business as presently conducted.
Security Clearances. The visitor group’s HOF will submit visit authorization letters (VAL) to the ISPM, per DOD 5200.1-R and DOD 5220.22-M. JPO serves as sponsor for the visits.
Security Clearances has the meaning set forth in Section 5.17(g).

Examples of Security Clearances in a sentence

  • Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring to submit Security Clearance forms in order to renew the Security Clearance(s) every twelve months.

  • The applicable Acquired Company possesses all Facility Security Clearances, and the Acquired Companies’ employees possess all Personnel Security Clearances, in each case required to perform the Government Contracts of the Acquired Companies.

  • All such Personnel Security Clearances and the Facility Security Clearances are current as of the date of this Agreement.

  • No termination, denial of eligibility, notice of rescission, notice of wrongdoing, marginal or unsatisfactory or failed vulnerability assessment, notice of breach, cure notice or show cause notice from Defense Security Service or any other Governmental Entity has been issued and remains unresolved with respect to any of the Facility Security Clearances, and to the Knowledge of the Company, no event, condition or omission has occurred or exists that would constitute grounds for such action or notice.

  • Within the scope of this Agreement, the National Security Authorities shall inform each other without delay about revocation of Personnel and Facility Security Clearances or the alteration of the security classification level.

Related to Security Clearances

  • Security Clearance means that level of security clearance required by the City or its police department for Contractor personnel accessing the information or premises required to be accessed in order to perform the Work under this Contract;

  • Clearances means any approvals, consents, clearances, determinations, permissions, confirmations, comfort letters and waivers that may need to be obtained, all applications and filings that may need to be made and all waiting periods that may need to have expired, from or under any Law or practices applied by any Relevant Authority (or under any agreements or arrangements to which any Relevant Authority is a party), in each case that are necessary and/or expedient to satisfy one or more of the Regulatory Conditions; and any reference to any Clearance having been “satisfied” shall be construed as meaning that the foregoing has been obtained, or where relevant, made or expired;

  • CFIUS Clearance means any of the following: (a) if a joint voluntary notification is submitted to CFIUS that (i) the parties hereto shall have received written notice from CFIUS that it has concluded its review, or, if applicable, investigation of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, and has determined that there are no unresolved national security concerns with respect to the transactions contemplated by this Agreement and that action under the DPA is concluded; or (ii) the parties hereto shall have received written notice from CFIUS that the transactions contemplated by this Agreement do not constitute a Covered Transaction (as such term is defined in 31 C.F.R. §800.213); (b) if CFIUS has sent a report to the President requesting the President’s decision with respect to the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, that either (i) the President has announced a decision not to take any action to suspend, prohibit or place any limitations on the transactions contemplated by this Agreement or (ii) the time permitted under the DPA for the President to take action to suspend or prohibit the transactions contemplated by this Agreement shall have lapsed without any such action being threatened, announced or taken; or (c) if a declaration is submitted to CFIUS pursuant to 31 C.F.R. §800.402, that the parties hereto shall have received written notice from CFIUS that (i) CFIUS has concluded its assessment of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement and determined there are no unresolved national security concerns related thereto, or (ii) CFIUS is not able to conclude its assessment of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement but CFIUS has not requested that the parties hereto submit a joint voluntary notice to CFIUS in connection thereto or initiated a unilateral review thereof.
