Section or Unit definition

Section or Unit means the meanings defined in the Act, and with particular reference to this Agreement shall mean that Section forming part of that Unit (which Unit includes an undivided share in the Common Property) which is sold and is to be transferred in terms of this Agreement notwithstanding that the Sectional Plan relating thereto may not yet be approved or registered;

Examples of Section or Unit in a sentence

  • Assignments within any Bureau, Division, Section or Unit will continue to rest with Command.

  • Special Provision - STEP 3: Within thirty (30) days of an alleged grievance, the Lodge is authorized to present said grievance at this step if the grievance affects a significant number of employees in more than one (1) District, Section, or Unit.

  • STEP 2: If not resolved at Step 1, the grievance shall be filed in writing with the District Section, or Unit Commander.

  • Eligibility for acting time in such instances shall be determined by the Deputy Chief in charge of the affected District Station, Division, Section, or Unit.

  • Annual leave for vacations will be selected by employees within each Division, Section, or Unit, as is applicable, based upon their seniority by class within the Department.

  • With the approval of the Bureau or Section Commander, Command Officers shall be allowed to trade days off with other Command Officers who work on the same shift and within the same Section or Unit and who are able to do the work.

  • The Sergeant permanently assigned to the Section or Unit where acting time is necessary and who stands highest on the promotional list for the rank of Lieutenant, shall be given the acting time.

Related to Section or Unit

  • Flip-over Transaction or Event means a transaction or series of transactions after a Flip-in Date in which, directly or indirectly, (i) the Company shall consolidate or merge or participate in a share exchange with any other Person if, at the time of the consolidation, merger or share exchange or at the time the Company enters into any agreement with respect to any such consolidation, merger or share exchange, the Acquiring Person Controls the Board of Directors of the Company and either (A) any term of or arrangement concerning the treatment of shares of capital stock in such consolidation, merger or share exchange relating to the Acquiring Person is not identical to the terms and arrangements relating to other holders of the Common Stock or (B) the Person with whom the transaction or series of transactions occurs is the Acquiring Person or an Affiliate or Associate of the Acquiring Person or (ii) the Company shall sell or otherwise transfer (or one or more of its Subsidiaries shall sell or otherwise transfer) assets (A) aggregating more than 50% of the assets (measured by either book value or fair market value) or (B) generating more than 50% of the operating income or cash flow, of the Company and its Subsidiaries (taken as a whole) to any Person (other than the Company or one or more of its wholly owned Subsidiaries) or to two or more such Persons which are Affiliates or Associates or otherwise acting in concert, if, at the time of the entry by the Company (or any such Subsidiary) into an agreement with respect to such sale or transfer of assets, the Acquiring Person Controls the Board of Directors of the Company. An Acquiring Person shall be deemed to Control the Company's Board of Directors when, following a Flip-in Date, the persons who were directors of the Company (or persons nominated and/or appointed as directors by vote of a majority of such persons) before the Stock Acquisition Date shall cease to constitute a majority of the Company's Board of Directors.

  • Cost of Construction means the total cost to Owner of those portions of the entire Project designed or specified by the Design Professional. Cost of Construction does not include the Design Professional's compensation and expenses and Owner's expenses associated with the Project or the cost of other services to be provided by others to the Owner.

  • Purchase or Sale of a Security means obtaining or disposing of "Beneficial Ownership" of that Security and includes, among other things, the writing of an option to purchase or sell a Security.

  • Termination Delivery Unit means one Share or, if the Shares have changed into cash or any other property or the right to receive cash or any other property as the result of an Insolvency, Nationalization, Merger Event or Tender Offer, a unit consisting of the number or amount of each type of property received by a holder of one Share (without consideration of any requirement to pay cash or other consideration in lieu of fractional amounts of any securities) in such Insolvency, Nationalization, Merger Event or Tender Offer. If such Insolvency, Nationalization, Merger Event or Tender Offer involves a choice of consideration to be received by holders, the Calculation Agent shall determine the composition of such consideration in its sole discretion.

  • Completion of Construction means all the construction is complete except for minor weather-related components and conforms to the approved plans and specifications and change orders.
