A transferred employee shall have the right to return to his/her previous position provided that he/she notifies his/her Section Director, or designee, and the Secretary of the Civil Service Board of his/her intention to do so within thirty (30) calendar days of the date the employee commences work in the transferred position.
When an employee needs to use sick leave, he/she shall notify the person designated by his/her Section Director at least a half hour prior to the time he/she should report to work, except in case of emergency.
