Seconded means any person from a Member State or any organization transferred to the Union to hold a temporary assignment with an Organ of the Union upon an agreed terms and conditions by all the parties concerned.
Seconded means the temporary transfer of an employee from a third party (the employer) to the beneficiary. Seconded persons are still paid and employed by the third party, but work for the beneficiary. They are at the disposal of the beneficiary and work under its control and instructions. A secondment normally requires the seconded person to work at the beneficiary’s premises, although in specific cases it may be agreed otherwise in the secondment agreement.

  • Any Seconded Employee so designated will be acting on behalf of the Operator when supervising the work of the Seconded Employees or when they are otherwise providing management or executive support on behalf of the Operator.

  • The Operator shall have the right to terminate the Secondment to it of any Seconded Employee (including any supervisor described in (e)) for any reason and at any time, upon prior written notice to the Company Parties, but at no time will the Operator have the right to terminate any Seconded Employee’s employment by the Company Parties or their respective contractor.
