The Screening Activities shall consist of a series of activities as outlined in the Screening Plan to determine if a Candidate Compound meets the PoC Criteria.
Screening Activities may include screening for and identifying (i) a Strain which produces the Candidate Compound or (ii) a Strain having a specific character or trait.
The Parties acknowledge that a Screening Activity may require subprojects, particularly in the case of the New Technology Activities, and in such events subprojects shall, for clarity, be considered part of the applicable Screening Activities.
