SCMA definition

SCMA refers to the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration.
SCMA means the Securities Commission Malaysia Act 1993 and any statutory modification, amendment or re-enactment thereof for the time being in force and includes all subsidiary legislations made thereunder;
SCMA means the Salaries and Conditions Monitoring Committee Act; “seal” includes the National Mint Seal, a mark or symbol;

Examples of SCMA in a sentence

  • MRMC shall pay the fees associated with Resident's membership each year in only the following professional organizations: SCAFP; SCMA; AAFP; FCMS; and the AMA or AOA, upon presentment of documentation evidencing the amounts due to such professional organization.

  • Any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, shall be referred to and finally resolved by Arbitration in Singapore in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA Rules) for the time being in force at the commencement of the Arbitration, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this clause.

  • If the response of the Director of Labor Relations or designee is not satisfactory to SCMA, SCMA has the right to refer the matter to binding arbitration.

  • If the County fails to respond to a grievance within the time limits specified for that step, the grievant or SCMA has the right to appeal to the next step, except that only SCMA has the right to refer the matter to binding arbitration.

  • County agrees to deduct and transmit to the treasurer of SCMA dues in uniform amounts from all SCMA members within the foregoing units who have signed an authorization card for such deduction in a form approved by County.

  • At each step of the formal grievance procedure, a copy of the decision will be sent to SCMA and the grievant.

  • In such event, any monies remitted to SCMA will be returned to the remitting entity (unless otherwise advised) less any applicable Transaction Fee, handling costs, and bank charges.

  • The Parties or their representatives shall upon request make available all source documents, data or information required for SCMA to verify information required as part of any anti-money laundering, suppression of terrorism financing or other legislation or law.

  • Such funds shall be received by the SCMA net of all bank charges.

  • If there is any dispute over whether particular positions require the use of the licenses or specified degrees identified above, the County and SCMA agree to meet and confer to resolve the dispute.

Related to SCMA

  • CCMA means the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration established in terms of section 112 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995;

  • CMA means the Competition and Markets Authority or any successor body;

  • SCM means Supply Chain Management.

  • Subscriber Management System means a system or device which stores the subscriber records and details with respect to name, address and other information regarding the hardware being utilized by the subscriber, channels or bouquets of channels subscribed by the subscriber, price of such channels or bouquets of channels as defined in the system, the activation or deactivation dates and time for any channel or bouquets of channels, a log of all actions performed on a subscriber’s record, invoices raised on each subscriber and the amounts paid or discount allowed to the subscriber for each billing period, and which complies with the requirements as set out under Annexure D of this Agreement;

  • Prime Vendor – means any person (natural or juristic) who forwards an acceptable proposal in response to this RFB with the intention of being the main contractor should the proposal be awarded to him/her.
