Scientific Materials definition

Scientific Materials means publications, papers, scientific posters and presentations, advisory board materials, written prepared responses to unsolicited requests for information related to indications for use of the Product that are not included in FDA-approved Product labeling, and similar materials used for specific educational purposes or in connection with medical affairs functions.

  • As nothing in this Agreement is intended to relinquish or convey any rights Seller may have to manufacture or sell the Products outside of the Territory, Buyer hereby grants Seller and its Affiliates a fully-paid, perpetual, royalty-free non-exclusive license to use the ANDA Technology and Scientific Materials, but only for Seller’s use in connection with the manufacture, registration or sale of the Products outside of the Territory.

  • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, Know-How, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno- associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • scientific research means any activity in the field of natural or applied science for the extension of knowledge;

  • Technology means all the software, prototypes, devices, drawings, specifications, lab notebooks, manuals, databases, equipment, files, technical memoranda, invention disclosures, patent application files, research studies, testing data, plans, files, formulas, computer programs, data and information, quality control records and procedures, research and development files containing, embodying or revealing the trade secrets, confidential information, and know-how that constitute Intellectual Property.

  • Study Materials means all the materials and information created for the Study, or required to be submitted to the Sponsor including all data, results, Biological Samples, Case Report Forms (or their equivalent) in whatever form held, conclusions, discoveries, inventions, know-how and the like, whether patentable or not, relating to the Study, which are discovered or developed as a result of the Study, but excluding the Institution’s ordinary patient records.

  • Biological Materials means any material (including, without limitation, plants, animals, microbes or viruses) of biological origin which contains genetic information capable of reproduction and/or material derived from the same that is collected or produced through the Contract;
