School Event definition

School Event means any activity or happening (i) at a School Board facility or (ii) sponsored, conducted, or supervised by a School Official acting in his or her Official Capacity. It includes, but is not limited to, a graduation, grade-promotion ceremony, award program, induction ceremony, pep rally, competition, practice, performance, class instructional time, and a club meeting or event. However, each of the following activities is not a School Event:
School Event means any school-sponsored or school authorized extra-curricular event or activity on or off school property.
School Event means an event or date set by the Participating School on Karri and in terms of which Parents/Users have to pay a stipulated amount, which amount will be collected by EPS on behalf the Participating School;

Examples of School Event in a sentence

  • Parent-teacher conferences are not considered a School Event subject to this provision.

  • When score-keeping, time-keeping, and line judging two or more events in a row on the same day pay will be $15.00 for each additional Middle School and $20 for each High School Event after the first event.

  • Extended Work Day/Year and School Event An employee who is required to work beyond the contract year shall be paid at the per diem rate of their annual salary.

  • LGMG cannot guarantee AT availability for an event for which School District requires Services that does not qualify as a School Event as defined in Exhibit A unless agreed upon in advance by the parties.

  • If a School Event of Default occurs then the District, with or without terminating this Agreement, may elect to enter the FUA Premises and take possession pursuant to legal proceedings or pursuant to any notice provided for by law.

  • Company will perform background checks to all personnel (“Personnel”) who will be in attendance to a School Event and/or in contact with any Student in compliance with New Jersey’s “Pass the Trash” Law.

  • Emergency Medical Event means an event wherein an Insured Person’s medical condition and situation are such that, in the opinion of the Company’s affiliate or authorized vendor and the Insured Person’s treating physician, the Insured Person requires urgent medical attention without which there would be a significant risk of death, or serious impairment and adequate medical treatment is not available at the Insured Person’s initial medical facility.
