School Assistant means a person f or whom special conditions are defined in Clause 4, Part 2 of this Agreement. It includes people who are ancillary to the process of teaching: school counsellors; guidance officers; curriculum advisers; audio-visual technicians; audio-visual co-ordinators; laboratory technicians; laboratory managers; library technicians; librarians; special education personnel; ethnic community and multi-cultural advisers; integration aides; school marshals; community information officers; computer and mathematics laboratory assistants; faculty administrators; extension education co-ordinators and teacher aides.
School Assistant means an employee, who is employed in Curriculum/resources services, Classroom support services, Preschool/childcare service and Nursing Services under the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020 or its successor(s) School year means the period of 12 months commencing from the day the Employees are required to attend the school for the new educational year, as determined by the school, and includes Term weeks and Non-term weeks School Teacher means a person who holds Full or Provisional Registration or Permission to Teach granted by the Victorian Institute of Teaching pursuant to Division 3 of Part 2.6 of Chapter 2 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) (or its successor) and is employed to teach the educational program to primary and secondary school students. This definition includes a qualified Teacher Librarian but does not include a person employed as a Principal or a Deputy Principal, by whatever name called Teachers Award means the Educational Services (Teachers) Award 2020 or its successor(s) Teacher means an ELC Teacher and a School Teacher, unless separately specified Term weeks means the weeks, or part thereof, in the School year that students are required to attend school and designated student free days as set out in the school calendar of the School Victorian Institute of Teaching means the statutory authority for the registration of Teachers established pursuant to the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor(s) WIRC means the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic) or its successor(s) Year 9 campus means the Tay Creggan Campus
