Schedule Float definition

Schedule Float means the number of days an activity can be delayed beyond its schedule completion without delaying a succeeding or related activity or restricting the schedule of a preceding activity in the Construction Schedule, with a critical path activity having no Schedule Float.

Examples of Schedule Float in a sentence

  • Contractor acknowledges and agrees that Schedule Float shall not be for the exclusive use or benefit of either the Contractor or the District.

  • Available Schedule Float (including any difference in negative float between a delayed activity and the most delayed activity if the project is delayed) may be appropriated by either party without thereby creating a compensable delay for the other party or affecting the right of the appropriating party to recover actual or liquidated damages for any delay by the other party.
