SBIRT definition

SBIRT means the same as that term is defined in Section 58-37-6.5.
SBIRT means the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment approach used by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration or defined by the division, in consultation with the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, by administrative rule, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act.
SBIRT means Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment, including the following practices:

Examples of SBIRT in a sentence

  • Research on improved service delivery for modalities such as SBIRT that demonstrate promising but mixed results in populations vulnerable to opioid use disorders.

  • Purchase automated versions of SBIRT and support ongoing costs of the technology.
