Satisfactory manner definition
Satisfactory manner means work of a similar quality and at least 75% of the quantity of work performed in similar amount of time by the employee being bumped. In the event that the disputed employee's work is close to "satisfactory", the following will apply. Prior to the end of the evaluation period, the company will convene another meeting with the employee and the union representative requesting another week (37 1/2 continuous working hours) to further evaluate the bumping employee's ability to "satisfactorily" perform the work. The same criterion will apply to the second evaluation period as applied to the first.
