Sash definition

Sash means the portion of a Pella ProLine Casement Window that is made up of the glazing (glass) and the surrounding aluminum clad wood frame and which is either vented (i.e. hinged so it may open) or fixed.
Sash means the secondary part of a window, either operable or fixed, which holds the glazing in place. Sash is usually constructed of horizontal rails and vertical stiles, and it may be subdivided with muntins.
