Sanctioned Group definition

Sanctioned Group means a University Group, which has been found guilty following a Trial for Guilt or admittance of guilt and has been sanctioned following a Trial for Sanction.

  • Sanctioned Entity means (a) a country or a government of a country, (b) an agency of the government of a country, (c) an organization directly or indirectly controlled by a country or its government, (d) a Person resident in or determined to be resident in a country, in each case, that is subject to a country sanctions program administered and enforced by OFAC.

  • Sanctions means any sanction administered or enforced by the United States Government (including without limitation, OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, Her Majesty’s Treasury (“HMT”) or other relevant sanctions authority.

  • Economic Sanctions refers to sanctions imposed by the U.S. government in response to Russia’s actions in Ukraine, as well as any sanctions imposed under state law. In determining whether any person or entity is a “Prohibited Party”, each party hereto, provided that they are not an Affiliate of such Person, shall be entitled to conclusively rely on a written certification from any Person stating that it is not a Prohibited Party. All necessary determinations under or for purposes of this definition shall be made as of the date of consummation of the transaction in which the relevant person or entity would become a Servicing Function Participant in respect of the Trust Fund.
