Sampling Technician definition

Sampling Technician means a person tasked with collecting a representative sample of a cannabis plant product, cannabis concentrate, or cannabis product from a cannabis production establishment who is:

Sampling Technician means a Vendor representative qualified to perform certain on-site activities as specified in the RFP. In order to meet the minimum qualifications for a sampling technician, the individual must have 1) OSHA 40 Hour Hazardous Material training and annual 8 Hour Refresher training, 2) knowledge of EPA/KDHE sampling protocol, and 3) collected laboratory groundwater samples from at least 30 monitoring wells.

More Definitions of Sampling Technician

Sampling Technician means an individual who has been trained by an accredited training program, as defined by this Section, that is registered by Safe State to conduct lead-based paint inspector or risk assessor training course. A sampling technician may perform visual assessments of painted surfaces and dust sample collection, except that visual assessment or dust sample collection following lead-based paint abatement activities is prohibited. Examples of the activities performed by a sampling technician include clearance sampling following remodeling and renovation activities, and certain other visual assessments and dust samples collection as required by HUD regulations. Dust sample collection performed by a sampling technician must be planned and approved by and reports signed by a Safe State registered lead-based paint inspector or risk assessor. For the purpose of this Chapter, a sampling technician means the same as a clearance technician as defined in 24 CFR Part 35.1340.
