Same-Shack sales definition
Same-Shack sales. ’ means, for any reporting period, sales for the comparable Shack base, which we define as the number of domestic company-operated Shacks open for 24 months or longer. For the fiscal years ended December 26, 2012 and December 25, 2013 and the thirty-nine weeks ended September 25, 2013 and September 24, 2014, there were five, eight, eight and 12 Shacks, respectively, in our comparable Shack base.
Same-Shack sales means, for any reporting period, sales for the comparable Shack base, which we define as the number of domestic company-operated Shacks open for 24 months or longer. For fiscal 2015, same-Shack sales growth is calculated on a calendar basis as the Company believes it more accurately reflects the performance of its business as it eliminates the impact of the extra operating week in fiscal 2014 and compares consistent calendar weeks.
Same-Shack sales means, for any reporting period, sales for the comparable Shack base, which we define as the number of domestic company-operated Shacks open for 24 months or longer. Same-Shack sales for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2014 exclude sales from the additional operating week.
