Salary Classification definition

Salary Classification means the level on the salary schedule to which a given job title is assigned.

  • For an employee to advance from one column to another, notification should be made to the Superintendent or his/her designee prior to June 1st, using the "Notification of Change of Salary Classification" form found in the District forms book.

  • Employees shall be laid off in the reverse order of their seniority, within an Occupational Grouping and at the same Salary Classification, provided that the employees retained to perform the work available during a lay- off shall be the employees who have the qualifications and ability to do the work available.
