Sahw definition
Sahw means forgetfulness, and the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) experienced forgetfulness in his prayer, because it is part of a human's nature. His forgetfulness was an absolute blessing from Allah and a means of perfecting the religion for his Ummah, as they could follow his example in terms of what must be done in case of forgetfulness.
