Safeguarding Team definition

Safeguarding Team means the Safeguarding department of the LTA;
Safeguarding Team. Each young offender institution has a safeguarding team dedicated to ensuring the establishment provides a safe environment which promotes the welfare of all children and Young People and protects them from harm or neglect from adults, peers or self;

  • Further, the Diocesan Safeguarding Team will contact the MOSOVO team immediately on discovering someone who is an RSO is involved with the Church.

  • Where an individual’s DBS is not clear, delivery partners must work with Basketball England Safeguarding Team to risk assess the suitability of the staff member/volunteer for the role.

  • If the DSL is not available, staff should speak to a member of the SLT/take advice from local children’s social care and/or contact a member of the Education Safeguarding Team.

  • MyConcern informs the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the College of concerns for action by the Safeguarding Team.
