Rwanda Transport Development Agency definition

Rwanda Transport Development Agency or “RTDA” means a semi-autonomous road agency, established and operating pursuant to the Recipient’s Law No. 02/2010 of January 20, 2010, as said Law may be amended from time to time, or the legal successor thereto.

Rwanda Transport Development Agency and the acronym “RTDA” mean the Recipient’s entity responsible for managing and monitoring all activities in the transport sector established and operating pursuant to Recipient’s law no. 02/ 2010 of January 20, 2010 (as amended by law no. 29/2014 of August 12, 2014) and whose mission includes managing and maintaining national road network and implementation of Recipient’s government policy on roads, railways, cable cars as well as road and waterways transport infrastructure or the legal successor thereto.

  • To this end, the Recipient shall carry out the Project (and cause Parts 1, 2 and 3 of the Project to be carried out by the Rwanda Transport Development Agency) in accordance with the provisions of Article V of the General Conditions, Schedule 2 to this Agreement and the Project Agreement.
