Rung definition

Rung means the step of a vertical ladder or step on the vertical surface.
Rung every range of amounts for which an interest rate on deposits or, as the case may be, the prime margin rate, appears in the interest rates table.
Rung every group of amounts for which an interest rate on linked savings plan deposits appears in the interest rates leaflet.

Examples of Rung in a sentence

  • Any teacher who has met the following criteria is eligible for the Advanced Professional Rung.

  • Employees who have attained Rung III must earn one hundred twenty (120) points of approved staff development hours every five (5) years to maintain Rung III.

  • Employees who have three or more years of teaching experience and who have not been granted a Professional Endorsement by the State Department of Education will continue to be placed on Step 3 of the residency Rung.

  • Requirements for School Nurses: A State-certified “R.N.” will be considered equivalent to a “BA.” Initial placement on the Career Ladder will be on Professional Rung 1.

  • Members of this committee shall define “Measurable student achievement” and “leadership positions” for the Advance Professional Rung.
