Run Cards definition

Run Cards means the Regional 9-1-1 Center’s computer aided dispatch software database that, based upon the location of the EMS Incident and a predetermined listing of ALS First Responder Units which the Contractor has determined to be the closest by travel time or most appropriate in ranked order, recommends the closest or most appropriate ALS First Responder Unit(s) to respond to EMS Incidents, or successor methods such as global positioning satellite (GPS) automatic vehicle location (AVL) systems.

  • At a minimum, you will be required to provide an accurate street centerline layer and the appropriate polygon layers needed for Unit Recommendations and Run Cards in an industry standard ESRI file format (Personal Geodatabase, File Geodatabase, Shape Files).

  • If necessary, we will assist you in creating the necessary polygon layers (Police Beats, EMS Districts and Fire Quadrants) for Unit Recommendations and Run Cards.

  • In the event that the Automatic Aid/Closest Unit Response Agreement is terminated, Contractor shall provide ALS First Responder Services in accordance with the then current Run Cards for all EMS Incidents.

  • The Contractor’s authorized representative will periodically, or at the request of the Authority, update their Run Cards to ensure their accuracy and coordinate any changes with any affected Contractor(s).

  • The ALS First Responder Unit which is predetermined to be the closest to the emergency scene, by the Run Cards, shall be dispatched without regard to EMS District or jurisdictional boundaries.

Related to Run Cards

  • Cards means either a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card, debit card (or other similar card that requires a PIN for identification purposes), or pre-paid, stored-value or gift card.

  • Card means credit, debit, smart or other charge or pre-paid cards branded as follows: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Debit, Solo, Maestro (subject to the Codes of Practice).

  • Customer Care Centre means a department or a section or a facility established under sub-regulation (1) of regulation 25 by the distributor of television for addressing service requests, answering queries, recording of complaints, and redressal of grievances of consumers, by telephonic or electronic means or by any other means.

  • DBS Card means a dried blood spot card aliquoted from the Cord Blood Sample for use in connection with Release.
