RPS Certification definition

RPS Certification means certification by the CEC that the Facility qualifies as an Eligible Renewable Energy Resource for RPS purposes, and that all Energy produced by the Facility qualifies as generation from an Eligible Renewable Energy Resource, as evidenced by a Certificate of RPS Eligibility.
RPS Certification means a finding by the CEC that the Facility qualifies as an Eligible Renewable Energy Resource for the purposes of the California Renewable Portfolio Standard, and that all Energy produced by the Facility qualifies as generation from an Eligible Renewable Energy Resource.
RPS Certification means a finding by the CEC that the Project qualifies as an ERR for the purposes of the California RPS, and that all Energy produced by the Project qualifies as generation from an ERR, as is currently documented by WREGIS.

Examples of RPS Certification in a sentence

  • Seller shall ensure the Facility obtains Oregon RPS Certification within ninety (90) days after the Commercial Operation Date and shall maintain such certification during the Delivery Period.

  • SELLER shall maintain such RPS Certification throughout the Delivery Term.

  • Once the Facility has achieved Commercial Operation, the CEC has issued a Certificate of RPS Eligibility for the Facility, and the Facility has been registered with the appropriate entity for the tracking of Green Attributes, the Buyer shall pay the Seller for all Output on or after the RPS Certification Date by multiplying the Contract Price by the quantity of Energy.

  • Seller shall ensure the Facility obtains Oregon RPS Certification within ninety (90) days after the Commercial Operation Date and shall maintain such certification during the Delivery Term.

  • The Seller, at its own cost and expense, shall obtain the RPS Certification within six (6) months of the Commercial Operation Date.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Seller shall not be in breach of this Agreement and SMUD shall not have the right to terminate the Agreement if Seller’s failure to obtain or maintain RPS Certification is due to a change in California law occurring after the Commercial Operation Date, so long as Seller has used commercially reasonable efforts to obtain and maintain RPS Certification, and Seller’s actions did not contribute to its inability to obtain or maintain RPS Certification.

  • SELLER, at its sole cost and expense, shall apply for on the Commercial Operation Date and obtain RPS Certification of the Facility from the CEC.

  • The Seller shall maintain the RPS Certification at all times during the Delivery Term.

  • If SELLER’s failure to obtain or maintain RPS Certification is due to a change in California law occurring after the Commercial Operation Date, SELLER shall use commercially reasonable efforts to obtain and maintain RPS Certification.

  • At its own expense, SELLER shall obtain RPS Certification of the Facility with the California Energy Commission.
