RODs definition

RODs means, collectively, the ARWW&S OU ROD, the CSOU ROD, and the OW/EADA OU ROD. For purposes of this Consent Decree, the RODs do not include any ROD amendments after the Effective Date.
RODs means the record of decision for OU2 at the New Bedford Harbor Site signed on April 6, 1990, and the record of decision for OU1 at the New Bedford Harbor Site signed on September 25, 1998.
RODs shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals.

RODs means the first operable unit record of decision for the New Bedford Harbor Site signed on April 6, 1990, and the second operable unit record of decision for the New Bedford Harbor Site for which a Feasibility Study was released on August 21, 1990, and which is presently scheduled to be signed in 1991.
RODs means all Records of Decision issued by EPA with respect to selection of the Response actions for each of the Site Operable Units prior to the Effective Date, together with all attachments thereto, and all nonsignificant/minor modifications and explanations of significant differences thereto that are issued by EPA before or after the Effective Date, and all implementing documents and work plans that are approved by EPA pursuant to the Records of Decisions and related modifications, and explanations of significant differences.
RODs means the 2002 ROD and the 2003 ROD, as amended and supplemented by the 2007 ROD Amendment.

Related to RODs

  • Bulkhead means an airtight structure separating the working chamber from free air or from another chamber under a lower pressure than the working pressure;

  • Pipe or “Piping” means a hollow cylinder or tubular conduit that is constructed of non-earthen materials.

  • Diameter means the diameter of the stem of a tree measured outside the bark at a specified point of measurement.

  • Sump means any pit or reservoir that meets the definition of tank and those troughs/trenches connected to it that serve to collect hazardous waste for transport to hazardous waste storage, treatment, or disposal facilities; except that as used in the landfill, surface impoundment, and waste pile rules, “sump” means any lined pit or reservoir that serves to collect liquids drained from a leachate collection and removal system or leak detection system for subsequent removal from the system.

  • Wax means a material or synthetic thermoplastic substance generally of high molecular weight hydrocarbons or high molecular weight esters of fatty acids or alcohols, except glycerol and high polymers (plastics). “Wax” includes, but is not limited to, substances derived from the secretions of plants and animals such as carnuba wax and beeswax, substances of a mineral origin such as ozocerite and paraffin, and synthetic polymers such as polyethylene.
