Road Allowances definition

Road Allowances means public rights of way, highways, streets, sidewalks, walkways, driveways, ditches and boulevards and the allowances therefor, including those shown on the map attached as Schedule “A” hereto, and including the Entrances and unopened road allowances, all owned by or managed under the legal jurisdiction of the County, and “Road Allowance” means one of the Road Allowances, as applicable in the context of this Agreement;

More Definitions of Road Allowances

Road Allowances has the meaning given to it in the Recitals;
Road Allowances means the common and public highways located in the Municipality that are owned or managed by the Municipality, and shall include but not be limited to bridges, culverts or similar structures, ditches, driveways, sidewalks, watermains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers and sodded or other areas forming part of the Road Allowance and shall also include unopened Road Allowances;

  • Utility Allowance means a monthly allowance, as provided by the local public housing authority or as otherwise allowed by HUD rules and the GLO rules, for utilities and services (excluding telephone services) to be paid by the tenant. Contextual Note: Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, an above definition for a singular term shall also apply (where appropriate) to the plural form of such term and vice versa to the extent necessary for giving the proper meanings to the terms defined in this Article II and/or terms otherwise used in this Agreement.

  • Maximum Applied Water Allowance (MAWA) means the upper limit of annual applied water for the established landscaped area as specified in Section 492.4. It is based upon the area's reference evapotranspiration, the ET Adjustment Factor, and the size of the landscape area. The Estimated Total Water Use shall not exceed the Maximum Applied Water Allowance. Special Landscape Areas, including recreation areas, areas permanently and solely dedicated to edible plants such as orchards and vegetable gardens, and areas irrigated with recycled water are subject to the MAWA with an ETAF not to exceed 1.0.   • Tuition Fees means a sum specified in the Offer Letter, payable by the Student to cover tuition, access to College facilities, enrolment procedures and orientation meetings, use of Information Technology facilities, exam sitting and a Kaplan award on successful completion of the Programme; and

  • Leasing Costs means, with respect to a particular Lease, all capital costs, expenses incurred for capital improvements, equipment, painting, decorating, partitioning and other items to satisfy the initial construction obligations of the landlord under such Lease (including any expenses incurred for architectural or engineering services in respect of the foregoing), “tenant allowances” in lieu of or as reimbursements for the foregoing items, payments made for purposes of satisfying or terminating the obligations of the tenant under such Lease to the landlord under another lease (i.e., lease buyout costs), relocation costs, temporary leasing costs, leasing commissions, brokerage commissions, legal, design and other professional fees and costs, in each case, to the extent the landlord is responsible for the payment of such cost or expense under the relevant Lease or any other agreement relating to such Lease.
