Road Allowances definition

Road Allowances means public rights of way, highways, streets, sidewalks, walkways, driveways, ditches and boulevards and the allowances therefor, including those shown on the map attached as Schedule “A” hereto, and including the Entrances and unopened road allowances, all owned by or managed under the legal jurisdiction of the County, and “Road Allowance” means one of the Road Allowances, as applicable in the context of this Agreement;
Road Allowances has the meaning ascribed thereto in the Recitals.
Road Allowances means public rights of way, road allowances, streets, sidewalks, highways, walkways, driveways, ditches and boulevards and the allowances therefor, and includes all existing infrastructure located on or within the Road Allowances, all owned, or managed under the legal jurisdiction of the County as shown in the Approved Road Use Plans (Schedule "B").

Examples of Road Allowances in a sentence

  • All work completed within the Road Allowances shall be designed and stamped by a Professional Engineer of Ontario.

  • Upon reaching such an agreement, Schedule “A” hereto shall be amended to identify the additional Road Allowances that the County agrees to maintain pursuant to Section 8.1 of this Agreement.

  • In the event that trees are removed from within the Road Allowances, the Proponent agrees, at its sole expense, to remove the tree ▇▇▇▇▇ to a level below grade and to restore and remediate the surface of the Road Allowance in accordance with Section 4.4 of this Agreement.

More Definitions of Road Allowances

Road Allowances has the meaning given to it in the Recitals;‌
Road Allowances means allowances originally laid out for roads by a Crown surveyor, including both road allowances shown on an original township survey and road allowances shown along the water in a plan of subdivision. Road allowances are generally 66 feet in width.
Road Allowances means all road allowances made by the Crown surveyors that are located in municipalities and all road allowances, highways, streets and lanes shown on a registered plan of subdivision;
Road Allowances means all road allowances made by the Crown surveyors that are located in the Town and all road allowances shown along the water, Highways, streets and lanes on a registered plan of subdivision;
Road Allowances means public rights of way, highways, bridges, streets, sidewalks, walkways, driveways, ditches and boulevards and the allowances therefore as listed on Schedule "B" attached hereto, all owned by or managed under the legal jurisdiction of the County, and "Road Allowance" shall mean one of the Road Allowances, as applicable in the context of this Agreement;
Road Allowances means the common and public highways located in the Municipality that are owned or managed by the Municipality, and shall include but not be limited to bridges, culverts or similar structures, ditches, driveways, sidewalks, watermains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers and sodded or other areas forming part of the Road Allowance and shall also include unopened Road Allowances;
Road Allowances means, whether opened or unopened, public rights of way, road allowances, bridges, streets, sidewalks, highways, walkways, driveways, ditches and boulevards and the allowances, sodded or other areas forming part of any Road Allowances, and includes all existing infrastructure located on or within the Road Allowances, all owned, or managed under the legal jurisdiction of the Municipality, including those Road Allowances shown in the Road Allowance Plan (Schedule “A”).
