RN-BSN definition

RN-BSN means a baccalaureate completion program that admits registered professional nurses and awards a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

Examples of RN-BSN in a sentence

  • RN-BSN RN-BSN students are to have completed their Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent prior to admission.

  • Upon graduation from the ADN program and successful completion of all other MSU RN-BSN program prerequisites, students will continue work toward completion of the MSU RN-BSN program.

  • Exceptions to this include: 90/30 Interdisciplinary Studies, RN/BSN, Dental Hygiene, and other NAU programs that allow more than 64 credits to be transferred toward an NAU degree program.

  • Students apply to the baccalaureate program using the MSU Office of Admissions application form and apply to the RN-BSN program by completing the College of Nursing supplemental application form.

  • Any RN/BSN nurse promoted to a Supervisory Nurse shall be placed proportionately along Supervisory Nurse salary range (from minimum to maximum) as that RN/BSN is along their current pay range at time of promotion.
