GATS means the General Agreement on Trade in Services, contained in Annex 1B to the WTO Agreement;

Cookies means small files which are stored on a user’s computer. Socket is a socket occupied by a CPU on a System or Physical Node. For purposes of this Exhibit 1.A, a “Socket-pair” is up to two sockets each occupied by a CPU on a System or Physical Node. A “System on a Chip” or “SOC(s)” is a single integrated circuit that includes the major components of a computer and is generally recognized as a system on a chip. A “Virtual Guest” is an instance of the Software that is executed, in whole or in part, on a System that is a virtual machine. When you deploy a guest operating system in a virtualized environment, you are responsible for securing the required license rights for any third party operating systems or other software that you use.
aeroplane means a power-driven heavier-than-air aircraft, deriving its lift in flight chiefly from aerodynamic reactions on surfaces which remain fixed under given conditions of flight;
Salmonid means of, belonging to, or characteristic of the family Salmonidae, which includes the salmon, trout, and whitefish.
Chip means the microchip embedded in the Card and visible on the Card as a Gold or Silver coloured microchip.
Stack means any point in a source designed to emit solids, liquids, or gases into the air, including a pipe or duct but not including flares.
NBOME means the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.
POPI means the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013;
Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;
Preschooler means a child age two through four years old.
Opaque means impenetrable to sight.
EPG means electronic program guide maintained by a DPO on its Digital Distribution Platform which lists the television channels and programs, and scheduling and programming information therein and includes any enhanced electronic guide that allows Subscribers to navigate and select such available channels and programs.
PNode has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.
MFIPPA means the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
IPPF means the indigenous peoples planning framework for the Investment Program, including any update thereto, agreed between the Borrower and ADB and incorporated by reference in the FFA;
RIS means a regulated information service for the purposes of giving information relating to the ETP Securities and/or the rules of the Relevant Stock Exchange chosen by the Issuer from time to time, including but not limited to the Regulatory News Service (the "RNS") of the London Stock Exchange.
We/Our/Us means the Underwriters named in the Schedule.
SADC means the Southern African Development Community;
Broadcaster means a person or a group of persons, or body corporate, or any organization or body who, after having obtained, in its name, downlinking permission for its channels, from the Central Government, is providing programming services;
Filter means material placed in the useful beam to preferentially absorb selected radiations.
GPS means Global Positioning System.
HUB means Historically Underutilized Business, as defined by Chapter 2161 of the Texas Government Code.
RFT means Request for Tender.
BOQ means Bill of Quantity or the Price Schedule in which rates for the e-tender should be quoted and uploaded online on the e-tender website.
