Rights Allocation Sample Clauses

Rights Allocation. The parties acknowledge that Broadcasters should be able to enjoy the full use of a program for the licence term and for those Canadian broadcast exhibition windows or new digital platforms for which they have licensed the program. All parties further recognize the importance of appropriate and reasonable holdbacks on the exploitation of a program in Canada, so as to encourage maximum promotion and to secure the value of the rights acquired by a Broadcaster. At the same time, all parties recognize that there are certain exclusive rights that must be retained by the Independent Producer so as to ensure the maximum exploitation of the value of the program.
Rights Allocation o The rights to common areas are calculated based on the proportion of the Buyer’s main building area to the total main building area. The area is determined by multiplying the total common area by this proportion.
