Rideshare definition

Rideshare means the transportation of passengers in Your Vehicle from point to point in return for payment where such transportation is undertaken on behalf of or facilitated by a transportation network company operating via a website or mobile app which is not a licensed taxi operator. For the purposes of this definition Rideshare is understood to include passenger transport in Vehicles providing chauffeur driven limousine and/or airport transfer services that are not licensed taxis.
Rideshare means the traveling of two or more persons by any mode of private passenger vehicle, including, but not limited to, carpooling, vanpooling, or bus pooling to any location incidental to another purpose of the driver for which compensation is neither accepted, collected, encouraged, promoted, or requested, and for which the primary purpose of the driver cannot be profit or revenue based.
Rideshare means a formal or informal arrangement in which a passenger travels in a private vehicle driven by its owner. The arrangement may be made by means of a website or online app.

Rideshare means the method of transportation used by the Eligible Cardholder for travel on a Covered Trip. The Rideshare carrier must work for or be hired through an Authorized Rideshare Company. Rideshare carrier does not include street-hailed taxis, limousines, rail or commuter bus lines, personal automobiles, rental cars, or vehicles intended for Car Sharing, unless specified in the Schedule.
