retail store, general means a development used for the commercial sale of groceries, beverages, household goods, furniture, and appliances, hardware, printed matter, confections, tobacco, pharmaceutical and personal care items, automotive parts and accessories, office equipment, stationary and/or similar goods from within an enclosed building. Minor public services, such as postal services and film processing depots, are permitted within retail stores. This does not include developments used for the sale of alcoholic beverages, gasoline, heavy agricultural or industrial equipment; vehicle and equipment sales/rentals; or warehouse development;
