Residence Fee definition

Residence Fee means the charges payable for Your occupation of the Accommodation as stated in the Agreement Summary
Residence Fee means the licence charge payable as stated in the online room offer / acceptance process or paper offer letter (if the online process is not used), in respect of the Student's Residence in the Accommodation and which is payable by the Student to the University during the Period of Letting. The Residence fee is payable in advance, either in full on the 9th October 2020 or by three equal instalments on the on 9th October 2020, 15th January 2021 and 7th May 2021. This amount is included in the total figure given in the online room offer / acceptance process or paper offer letter (if the online process is not used). Period of Letting means the period granted by this Agreement starting and ending on the dates stated in the online room offer / acceptance process or paper offer letter (if the online process is not used). Regulations means the Student Residence Regulations issued by the University in June 2020 and amended from time to time.

Examples of Residence Fee in a sentence

  • The Resident must pay in full any outstanding Residence Fee and Resident Charges in respect of the period up to and including the date on which the Resident vacates the Room prior to vacating the Room.

  • Additional Residence Fees will (if applicable) be charged on a proportional basis of the Residence Fee for each day of occupation outside the Period of Residence.

  • Despite clause 3(b), if the Resident complies with all its obligations under this clause 14 and under clause 17, following termination (where agreed by the Manager under this clause 14) the Manager will refund to the Resident the balance of any Residence Fee paid in advance to the Manager.

  • If the Resident vacates on the termination date agreed by the Manager and the Resident has paid an Early Termination Fee equal to 4 weeks of the Residence Fee, the Manager will refund a proportionate amount of that Early Termination Fee if a replacement resident is found within 4 weeks of the termination date.

  • The Resident must pay to the Manager the Residence Fee for the Room as set out in the Schedule.
