Research Study means the Phase 1 clinical trial under IND BB-IND 11948 entitled “A Randomized Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Dose-Escalating Study of Intramuscular Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor 2 Gene Transfer in Patients with Moderate or High-Risk Critical Limb Ischemia” funded, in part, by a grant received by Recipient from the National Institutes of Health, and is pursuant to NIH Protocol No. 0408-671. The Research Study will be conducted at the facility of Recipient and through subinvestigators at clinical sites listed on Exhibit C.

Research Study means that specific non-commercial research study prepared and to be performed by Institution and approved by EMD Serono R&D, a description of which is attached hereto as Exhibit B.

In the event Provider seeks to conduct research in the Chicago Public Schools or use Confidential Information, including CPS Student Data, for purposes not specified in this Agreement, then Provider shall comply with the Board’s External Research Study and Data Policy (19-1211-PO3), as amended from time to time.

Following a Research Study Request, Colliga Apps will work with Researcher as necessary for Researcher to access Colliga Apps Services.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Term may re-commence or be extended if Researcher submits, and Colliga Apps accepts, a new Research Study Request.
Research Participant acknowledges and agrees that the compensation described under this Section 1 represents AccessLex’s full and complete obligation for any and all Services to be rendered by Research Participant under this Agreement and that AccessLex will not reimburse or compensate Research Participant for any other costs or expenses incurred in connection with Research Participant’s participation in the LexScholars Research Study.
During the Term, for the fees and on the terms and conditions set forth herein and otherwise in the Agreement, Colliga Apps will make available to Researcher access to the Colliga Apps Services, solely for Researcher’s non-commercial, educational, research purposes, with the exact applications and services to be provided to Researcher set forth in the Research Study Request.

Research Study means the study designed and performed during the Initial Term by AstraZeneca which uses the data in the STRENGTH Database solely to investigate the genetic basis of variable response to Statins, PROVIDED, THAT, AstraZeneca shall have sole discretion whether to conduct the Research Study.
