Examples of Research Assistants in a sentence
The Employer shall advise Teaching Assistants in their Teaching Assistant Form (TAF) and Teaching Fellows in their Teaching Fellow Form (TFF) or their Letter of Appointment, and Research Assistants in their Research Assistant Form (RAF), that they are included in the Bargaining Unit represented by the Union, and that their employment is on the terms and conditions set out in the Collective Agreement.
For purposes of clarity, Research Assistants are not included in the bargaining unit.
Research Assistant shall be entitled to receive and participate in those benefits that UNMC routinely provides to other similarly situated Research Assistants.
Also excluded are Graduate Teaching Assistants, Graduate Research Assistants, Graduate Assistants, Pre-Doctoral and Post- Doctoral Fellows and Associates enrolled at UVM, and other students enrolled at UVM.
Upon appointment by the Superintendent, Research Assistants who report directly to the Superintendent shall be granted temporary leaves of absence; and further during the period of said temporary leave of absence shall be excluded as members of the bargaining unit.
Research Assistants will be notified of the anticipated graduate positions available in the department as early as possible and no later than the third (3rd) Monday in September.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, for the purpose of clarity, students registered at OISE/UT who, in relation to their academic program, are employed as Graduate Student Research Assistants on externally funded research development grants or contracts are not members of this bargaining unit.
Students who are eligible for this benefit include Graduate Assistants, Teaching Assistants, and Research Assistants.
Research Assistants employed by the UK organisation need to meet the AHRC’s threshold of being of postdoctoral standing (either having a PhD or equivalent research experience).
Nothing in this Agreement will preclude the University from enhancing the training and professional development programs provided to Research Assistants and Teaching Assistants.
