Research and Development Facilities definition

Research and Development Facilities means structures and uses associated with research and development, public and private educational partnerships, and accessory structures or uses.
Research and Development Facilities means a building, or group of buildings used primarily for the operation of research industries, investigation, testing or experimentation, and including data processing, but not including facilities for the manufacture or sale of products, except as incidental to the primary research or data processing use.
Research and Development Facilities means a building in which scientific or technical research is conducted and may include the development of new products.”

Research and Development Facilities means facilities including research and testing laboratories and including manufacturing associated with research and development facilities. Laboratories engaged in research, experimental and testing activities, may include, but are not limited to, the development of mock-ups and prototypes; biomedical facilities defined by the National Institute of Health as Biolevel-1 (BL-1) or Biolevel-2 (BL-2) facilities subject to applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Biomedical facilities defined by the National Institute of Health as Biolevel-3 (BL-3) or Biolevel-4 (BL-4) facilities shall not be permitted in the City of Revere.

Related to Research and Development Facilities

  • Research and development facility means an establishment engaged in laboratory, scientific, or experimental testing and development related to new products, new uses for existing products, or improving existing products. The term does not include an establishment engaged in efficiency surveys, management studies, consumer surveys, economic surveys, advertising, promotion, banking, or research in connection with literary, historical, or similar projects.
