Request for Discharge Letter definition

Request for Discharge Letter shall specifically request the discharge of the employee for failure to abide by Sections 2.3, 2.3.1 and 2.4 of Article 2, but provide the employee and the City with thirty (30) calendar days' written notification of the Guild's intent to require discharge, during which time the employee may make restitution in the amount which is overdue. Upon receipt of the Guild's request, the department head shall give notice in writing to the employee, with a copy to the Guild and the City Director of Labor Relations, that the employee faces discharge upon the request of the Guild at the end of the thirty (30) calendar day period noted in the Guild's "Request for Discharge Letter" and that the employee has an opportunity before the end of said thirty
