Request for accommodation definition
Request for accommodation shall include instances where the caseworker or CAC initiates the offer of assistance and the client accepts the offer, as well as instances where the client initiates the request for assistance. The statement or offer shall be treated as a "request for accommodation" regardless of whether or not the term “accommodation” is used.
Request for accommodation means any written or oral statement by or on behalf of an applicant or recipient that he or she needs help complying with a Department rule or accessing Department programs due to disability. “Request for accommodation” shall include instances where the caseworker or CAC initiates the offer of assistance and the client accepts the offer, as well as instances where the client initiates the request for assistance.
