Repos definition

Repos means the Transactions set out in section 5, below.
Repos means agreements, arrangements or understandings with a person whereby any Investments are transferred to or Investments are acquired from that person on the basis that the transaction will be reversed on a predetermined rate and at an agreed price.
Repos is as defined in Appendix A of this Agreement;

Examples of Repos in a sentence

  • Seller shall use its best efforts to retain at the Branch Office the Deposits and Retail Repos that are domiciled at the Branch Office as of the date of this Agreement.

  • Each Fund shall not hold on any Business Day Eligible Repos the aggregate principal amount of which is in excess of 40% of the value of its Eligible Assets on such Business Day.

  • Repos are legally arranged as a contract between two parties to sell a security, such as a Treasury bond, and then repurchase it at a later date at a higher prearranged price (Figure 1).

  • In calculating the payment due at the Closing, Buyer also will receive a credit for all advance payments received by Seller for obligations relating to the Assets, Retail Repos and Deposits transferred to Buyer hereunder, which payments shall be prorated between the parties as of the Closing Date.

  • On the Closing Date, Buyer will assume all obligations of Seller relating to the Deposits and Retail Repos.

  • Each Stockholder has the power to instruct the voting of the applicable Shares pursuant to, and subject to the terms and conditions of, the Repos, free and clear of all liens, encumbrances, options, rights of first refusal and other similar rights and restrictions, in each case, other than as set forth under this Agreement, the Itau Stockholder Agreement and the Repos.

  • Repos remain an inherently unreliable source of funding in a crisis, even if large banks are less reliant on them following postcrisis reforms.

  • Liens on the Treasuries of the Company and/or its Subsidiaries in connection with entering into one or more Repos in connection with their investment portfolios consistent with the Company’s investment policy in effect as of the date hereof.

  • When the Company and/or its Subsidiaries enter into any Repos, they must post Treasuries as collateral into the account of a third party to secure their obligations under the Repo.

  • If a Fund is unable to engage in Eligible Repo transactions, such cash that would have been invested in Eligible Repos will be held as overnight bank deposits at a bank having a short-term rating of at least A1/P1.

  • Streaming means the transmission of a digital file containing audio-visual content from a remote source for viewing concurrently with its transmission, which file may not be stored or retained (except for temporary caching or buffering) for viewing at a later time.

  • Provisioning involves the exchange of information between Telecommunications Carriers where one executes a request for a set of products and services or Unbundled Network Elements or combinations thereof from the other with attendant acknowledgments and status reports. "Pseudo Automatic Number Identification" or "Pseudo-ANI" is a number, consisting of the same number of digits as ANI, that is not a NANP telephone directory number and may be used in place of an ANI to convey special meaning, determined by agreements, as necessary, between the system originating the call, intermediate systems handling and routing the call, and the destination system. "Public Safety Answering Point" or "PSAP" is the public safety communications center where 911/E911 calls for a specific geographic area are answered. "Rate Center" identifies 1) the specific geographic point identified by specific vertical and horizontal (V&H) coordinates, which are used to measure distance sensitive End User Customer traffic to/from the particular NPA-NXX designations with the specific Rate Center, and

  • Capture means the process of buffering EDR data in a temporary, volatile storage where it is continuously updated at regular time intervals.

  • Healing arts screening means the testing of human beings using x-ray machines for the detection or evaluation of health indications when such tests are not specifically and individually ordered by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts legally authorized to prescribe such x-ray tests for the purpose of diagnosis or treatment.

  • IVR means Interactive Voice Response system;
